Baltimore

Creating equitable opportunities rooted in authenticity, respect and collaboration

BAL Site Homepage

Overview

Our community strengths can open possibilities

A vibrant community of diverse neighborhoods. Home to top colleges and universities, a growing tech sector fueled by promising startups, and renowned cultural offerings. Yet prosperity is not equally shared. Historic and current economic, housing, health and education inequities have led to high rates of poverty disproportionately impacting Black residents.

That’s where GreenLight comes in. Our community-driven process brings proven programs best suited to tackle locally-identified unmet needs to address deep-rooted disparities and create opportunities for children and families to thrive.
