Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Email Karla had a history of mistrusting adults, specifically teachers. When her father passed away, Karla struggled with behavior issues in school. There were frequent referrals for discipline and she was on the verge of being sent to an alternative school. Through her participation in Working On Womanhood (WOW), Karla now chooses to express her anger via boxing classes after school and art.
