Vannesa’s Journey to Entrepreneur Educator with All Our Kin

Vanessa, a Kansas City, Missouri, ECC Educator, was recruited by GreenLight Fund at the initiation of the Kansas City project site visit with the funder, All Our Kin (AOK) team, and educators. As a provider, Vanessa has served children and families in Missouri, for over 24 years. She initially engaged with the Business Train the Trainer series after 20 years in the field. She declares “Business Training series is the best training program for Family Child Care (FCC) educators. It transformed how I managed my childcare program.” Vanessa’s program serves children 2-5 years old. Vanessa is an inaugural member of the The Family Conservancy (TFC) advisory council and just completed her first year in this role. The advisory council is composed of educators, community partners, licensing surveyors, and staff living in Kansas and Missouri.
