Brett’s life comes full circle: Youth Villages LifeSet Jun 21, 2023 Boston Brett’s life took a positive turn with the support of YV LifeSet, achieving significant milestones and reaching his goals. Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Email YV LifeSet, a program of Youth Villages, works to support the nearly 800 young people who age out of foster care in Massachusetts each year. Recognizing the lack of resources to support young adults with this transition, YV LifeSet pairs each participant with a trained specialist who helps them identify, navigate, and achieve their goals. Brett is a participant of YV LifeSet’s program in Massachusetts. Having entered foster care at six years old, Brett lacked the stability he needed to successfully transition into adulthood. That’s when he got connected with YV LifeSet. His experience in the program led him to get a GED, graduate college, and find a rewarding career.
