Victoria Costa

Communications Associate

Victoria joined GreenLight Fund in February 2022. She holds a BS in English from Frostburg State University and an MA in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University.

Victoria gained valuable communications experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sector. During her undergraduate career, she interned at FrostburgFirst where she created newsletters and marketing materials to promote sustainable economic development opportunities within the local community. She also fulfilled various leadership roles on campus while founding You Are Not Alone, a student organization committed to spreading awareness on sexual assault and serving as a support group for survivors. Throughout her master’s program, Victoria conducted research that supports horticulture programs and employment opportunities during incarceration to reduce recidivism. She is passionate about establishing innovative programs to improve the well-being of individuals and communities. In her free time, Victoria also volunteers with Canine CellMates, American Bulldog Rescue, The Rescue Crew, and Minneapolis Animal Care and Control.
