Victoria Costa

Victoria joined GreenLight Fund in February 2022 as a Communications Associate. She holds a BS in English with a minor in Journalism from Frostburg State University and an MA in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University.

Victoria brings experience across nonprofit and for-profit communications, with a focus on storytelling that advances community impact. Before joining GreenLight Fund, she supported marketing and communications at FrostburgFirst and, during her undergraduate studies, founded You Are Not Alone, a student organization dedicated to raising awareness about sexual assault and creating supportive spaces for survivors. Victoria’s academic and professional work reflects a deep commitment to equity and systems change. Through her graduate program, she conducted research examining how horticulture programs and employment opportunities during incarceration can support rehabilitation, reduce recidivism, and promote long-term well-being.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fostering dogs and reptiles, and volunteering with Alone No More Dog Rescue, Love Them All Rescue + Sanctuary, and at the North Mountain Visitor Center.
