Greenlight Fund Appoints Four New Members to its Board of Directors

Leaders bring varied backgrounds and expertise in a period of growth

Boston, MA – July 9, 2026 – GreenLight Fund is pleased to welcome four new members to its board of directors: George Brown, Former Executive Director of the Stanford Center for Racial Justice at Stanford Law School, Meera Chary, Partner & Head of Leadership Accelerator at The Bridgespan Group, Mike Dickerson, CEO of Yottaa, Inc., and Joe Gianni, Bank of America Market President – Hartford Region. With varied backgrounds, the new board members bring years of relevant and diverse experience to help lead GreenLight’s community-driven work as the organization continues its rapid expansion and impact growth across the country.

GreenLight’s board has fiduciary responsibility for the health and wellbeing of the organization as well as acting as advisors and contributing their expertise in ways that can benefit the running of the organization, theory of change, and long term strategy. Leadership, business development and strategy, social justice, economic opportunity, finance, community development, and capacity building are just a handful of the assets the new board members bring, adding to an already experienced and diverse board.

Meet the new GreenLight Fund Board members:

George Brown is the Former Executive Director of the Stanford Center for Racial Justice at Stanford Law School, bringing over 30 years of corporate law experience and a deep commitment to social and racial justice. A UCLA-trained lawyer and MBA, he is a Retired Partner of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he specialized in complex business litigation, securities class actions, corporate governance disputes, and accounting and valuation matters for major global companies, boards, and executives.

He currently serves as a board director of Exponent, Inc., chairing its audit committee, and as a board director of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, serving on its audit committee. He is a senior fellow with American Leadership Forum Silicon Valley, to whose board he recently rejoined. Brown previously led landmark voting rights and police reform efforts and held senior leadership roles with organizations including the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Housing Trust Silicon Valley, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights for the San Francisco Bay Area.

He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A./J.D. from UCLA.

Mike Dickerson is the CEO of Yottaa, Inc., a web performance and digital experience optimization company for eCommerce brands, and the Operating Executive Chairman at PSG Equity, where he supports software and technology portfolio growth. With a career spanning startups, venture-backed companies, and public technology firms, he is recognized for scaling businesses, driving SaaS growth, and leading digital strategy. He has been a GreenLight investor since 2017 and serves as a senior advisor focused on Enterprise Application Software companies, with leadership experience across venture capital, public, and private equity-backed companies.

Previously, Dickerson was CEO of ClickDimensions, a leading provider of Sales and Marketing software in the Microsoft ecosystem, and EVP at PGI, overseeing Global Collaboration Services for the Global 1000. Earlier, he founded Vocalocity, a VOIP software company, and College Concepts, a licensed sports apparel manufacturer, and served as Managing Director of eHatchery, an early-stage venture fund and incubator.

He holds undergraduate degrees from Stanford in International Relations and History, and a Master’s in International Trade Policy from Stanford.

Joe Gianni is President of Bank of America Greater Hartford, leading efforts across Connecticut to help individuals, families, and businesses improve their financial lives through integrated solutions. He has been with Bank of America and its predecessor banks since 1989, starting as a commercial relationship manager and now serving on the Government Relations team, where he engages with public officials and community leaders on policy priorities. He also serves as executive sponsor of the Military Support & Assistance Group and Domestic Violence Task Force, and is active in civic and nonprofit leadership.

He is an active leader in the local community, and in addition to being newly named to the board of GreenLight Fund, he has been a GreenLight investor since 2015, is a trustee for the Hill-Stead Museum and serves on the boards of Connecticut Foodshare, the New England Council, CT Governor’s Workforce Council, Metro-Hartford Alliance, and the Wadsworth.

Meera Chary is a partner at The Bridgespan Group. Throughout her career, she has worked with nonprofit executive teams on issues related to strategy, organizational effectiveness, and leadership. Chary currently leads Bridgespan’s cohort-based programs for nonprofit executive teams, including the Bridgespan Leadership Accelerator. Some of her recent publications include an article series on nonprofit strength titled “How to Build Resilience: Three Strategies to Strengthen Organizations,” and a series on “co-leadership.”

Prior to joining the Bridgespan Group, Chary was a consultant in Bain & Company’s San Francisco office, where she worked on engagements across the retail, media, and higher education sectors. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda, working at the intersection of education and public health.

She has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and her BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
