Antionette Brockenbrough Coordinator, GreenLight Baltimore Baltimore Antionette joined GreenLight Fund Baltimore in January of 2025 as a Coordinator. As a first-generation college student born and raised in Baltimore city, Antionette developed passions for social and economic justice and youth advocacy at a young age. She believes in work that supports and uplifts underrepresented communities, while providing inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued. Antionette completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Organizational Leadership Development and Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in college, she solidified her passion for nonprofit work, desiring to work for organizations that prioritized equity both internally and in the communities it served. As a result, she worked as a Success and Support Coordinator for the Students to Scholars organization in Durham, NC, where she nurtured the academic, social, and leadership potential of underserved students in Durham public schools. Furthermore, she has interned at the CollegeBound Foundation in Baltimore, Maryland where she was able to identify key strengths and areas of growth for their college completion program, as well as build lasting relationships with the organization’s alumni. Her other roles include serving as a business development associate for an organization prioritizing health education in youth, college admissions mentor, and community outreach coordinator. Wanting to begin her post-grad professional journey establishing ties to the community she was raised in, Antionette is thrilled to join the GreenLight team in her hometown of Baltimore. In her free time, she enjoys sewing/repurposing old clothes to fit her current fashion obsessions, reading a good book, and playing with her two dogs: Bentley and Belvedere
