Sachika Singh

Program Manager, GreenLight Cincinnati

Cincinnati

Sachika joined the GreenLight Fund Cincinnati team in May 2026 as a Program Manager. A sociologist most recently based at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Sachika studied efforts to build community resilience against traumatic stress caused by systemic oppression. Her state-level leadership in implementing such solutions was recognized in 2025 by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services.

Sachika holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati. She applied this lens at GlobeMed, consulting with grassroots organizations around the world on capacity-building and anti-oppressive global health practice. That experience sharpened her conviction that change is most sustainable and meaningful when rooted in community ownership and cultural identity. She advanced this approach at Desi Dance Network by founding a national initiative mobilizing over 2,000 collegiate artists to provide survivor-centered support and advocacy to mitigate sexual violence. She currently serves on the DDN Board of Directors.

Formerly a member of GreenLight Cincinnati’s Selection Advisory Council (2023-2026), Sachika has firsthand experience with the GreenLight Method and deep appreciation for its community-driven approach to innovation. She is also a graduate of Loyola University Chicago’s Baumhart Impact Leader Series, Leadership Council’s Board Orientation & Leadership Development Program, and Seattle Works’ Agents of Change Program.

A lifelong Cincinnatian, Sachika enjoys hiking with her husband and her hound dog.
