Musu Taylor

Musu joined GreenLight Philadelphia in June 2026 as a Site Manager. Prior to joining GreenLight, Musu served as Project Manager for East Freedman and Main, where she supported large scale community development projects in the Northwest Bronx and North Lawndale, Chicago. Musu served as a strategic partner for leadership, ensuring that all project frameworks supported emergent community development strategies. Musu also served as a Researcher at The Growth Collective for the Preserving Black Project, helping to design innovative community ownership models to secure permanent community stewardship for cultural sites around Philadelphia. 

The throughline to Musu’s work is her commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ). Throughout her career, Musu has operated at the intersection of data-driven research, project management, and strategic policy with an emphasis on equity and advancing systems change. Her technical expertise is grounded in an MS in Social Policy and Data Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania, and BBA in Legal Studies from Temple University. 

During her free time, Musu loves practicing hot yoga and running on Kelly Drive and along the Schuylkill River. She also serves on the steering committee of the Young Friends of Preservation Alliance (YFPA) in Philadelphia, and enjoys playing weekly quizzo with friends.
