Katie Lecher People Operations Coordinator National Katie joined the GreenLight team in March 2026 as a People Operations Coordinator. She was drawn to GreenLight’s commitment to uplifting the voices of local communities and creating meaningful, community-centered impact. Before joining GreenLight, Katie worked as a Human Resources Coordinator, where she discovered a passion for how thoughtful HR practices can support both organizational success and employee well-being. Katie volunteered as a member of the organization’s DE&I team, where she helped identify gaps in the hiring pipeline affecting marginalized communities. That experience strengthened her commitment to equity and ultimately inspired her to transition into a mission-driven organization where she could contribute to positive change on a broader scale. Prior to her career in HR, Katie studied Communication & Media, Graphic Design, and Film Studies at Merrimack College. During her time there, she worked as a Media Assistant, capturing campus events through photography and offering creative guidance to peers pursuing film and photography. Outside of work, Katie enjoys staying involved in causes she cares about. She is an active member of her local chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and runs an Etsy shop where she donates a portion of her proceeds to environmental nonprofits.
