Jordan joined the Greenlight Fund Chicago in order to fulfill her desire to uplift individuals and communities in both her professional and personal life. Since she was little, Jordan’s family instilled the value of service through volunteer opportunities in various nonprofit organizations. These values have remained strong throughout her life and inspired her to pursue a career of community service by obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Public and Nonprofit Management from Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio.

After graduation, Jordan moved back to Chicago and joined United Way of Metro Chicago as a Volunteer Engagement and Development Coordinator. Within this role, she managed volunteer events with over 150 participants. Jordan coordinated the day of logistics with volunteers, partner organizations, and United Way staff.

Most recently, Jordan served as a Client Services Coordinator working collaboratively with three organizational departments to schedule over 1,600 hours a week of behavioral therapeutic services. These cross-departmental collaborations included nearly 200 staff to accommodate client programs.

Jordan brings her experience and passion for supporting communities through nonprofit partnerships to GreenLight Fund Chicago. In her free time, she is cuddled up with a book, exploring a national park, or learning a new craft.
