Evon Wood Strategic Support Manager National As the Strategic Support Manager, Evon brings years of senior administration experience enhancing the effectiveness of executives, divisional leaders, and boards of directors/trust. The foundation of her strengths is establishing and maintaining impactful organizational and community relationships that bridge inspiration, ideas, and strategies for success. As an intentional life-long learner, Evon has been consistent in attaining and maintaining credentialed designations that validate her skills at an advanced level, including the Certified Change Manager-Practitioner (CCMP) and the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP-OM, PM) designations. Additionally, her commitment to inspirational leadership is reflected in her work as a published author—with her most recent article collaboration on change agents being showcased as the cover story for the 2021/2022 winter edition of Executive Support Magazine. Over her career, Evon has been fortunate to serve in active leadership and governance roles within several organizations. They include IAAP Foundation Board of Directors, The Carnegie Writers, Inc. Board of Directors, Meeting Professionals International Administrative Planners Advisory Board, Nashville State Community College Administrative Professional Technology Advisory Committee, Remington College Business Administration Program Advisory Committee, and as the IAAP Nashville Branch Director. She also enjoys memberships in the Association of Change Management Professionals, Chief of Staff Association, Chief of Staff Roundtable, and is a Life Member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. Evon’s professional and community honors include The Carnegie Writers, Inc. Board Member of the Year, multiple nominations for EA of the Year, North America—Executive PA Awards, IAAP Member of Excellence, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. Leadership Award, and Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. Dedicated Service Award. Evon has an AAS degree in Management from Purdue University Global, graduating Summa Cum Laude. As a passionate community activist, Evon supports organizations that advocate for social equity, women’s empowerment, an end to homelessness, volunteerism, and the arts.
