Join us on Monday afternoon to experience Oakland through a choice of community-led experiences: a walking tour of Oakland’s movements for racial justice and civic leadership, conversations with Bay Area changemakers advancing community-driven solutions, or an exploration of Oakland’s rich history and culture at the Oakland Museum of California. Welcome Reception Celebrate the Bay Area through music and artistic performance. Connect with participants from around the country and get grounded in the convening’s purpose. Tuesday, October 27 – Shaping the Future of Inclusive Prosperity Gather to appreciate the power of the extended national network and explore what’s possible when leaders from across the country leverage local efforts towards national impact. Draw connections and explore opportunities to strengthen our collective impact towards inclusive prosperity. Small group sessions: Cross-city learning exchanges centered around the pillars of prosperity that anchor work in communities across the country. Future-focused forums that further cross-community peer learning and innovation. Plenary: Move from learning to envisioning a collective theory of action Keynote address that will challenge us to think bigger about what’s possible when communities, organizations, and leaders work together toward shared goals. Salon Dinners: Join a curated, small group of participants at a local restaurant for conversation and connection digging deeper into what’s possible when we innovate together. Wednesday, October 28 – Restoration and the Path Forward Restoration lounge: featuring locally curated wellness stations, calming reflective spaces, and rejuvenating refreshments. Responsive Roundtables: choose in which conversation to engage from a host of hot-topic themes from the first two days of the convening. Journey Map: uncover the collective story built throughout the convening on our graphic journey map and discuss next steps to activate the extended network in the year ahead. Closing Remarks: rooted in the power of collaboration and collective vision of what a brighter and more equitable future can look like.
