We’re proud to introduce our newest portfolio organization: Center for Supportive Schools. With GreenLight Bay Area’s investment, Center for Supportive Schools will launch their evidence-based Peer Group Connection (PGC) program in schools across Oakland.

The Peer Group Connection program will empower student leaders through a year-long leadership course, equipping peer leaders with the skills to strengthen relationships among students across grades and engaging full school communities. Over time, the PGC program will transform school culture and reduce chronic absenteeism, giving students a greater sense of belonging, self-confidence, and engagement in school.
