Ugochi joined Greenlight Fund Baltimore as a Program Associate in January, 2022. As a Nigerian-American born and raised in Baltimore, Ugochi is passionate about highlighting the voices and experiences of Black people across the globe, especially within her homes of Baltimore and Igboland. She is interested in working alongside communities to address structural challenges that drive racial and economic inequity and stifle liberation.

Previously, Ugochi worked as a Health Systems Fellow with Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Ward Infinity, a social innovation accelerator program, that supported Black entrepreneurs who were advancing health equity in Wards 7 & 8 in Washington, DC. She also worked as a Project Associate for Endeavor TBD on a project improving literacy outcomes for Baltimore’s youth and young adults.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. Ugochi also has a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Emory University with a concentration in Community Health and Development and a certificate in the Social Contextual Determinants of Health.
