Molly April joined the GreenLight Boston team in early 2023. She brings experience in both direct service and nonprofit operations with a passion for leveraging systems thinking and engaging stakeholders to positively support all community members.

Molly began her career as an AmeriCorps member with English for New Bostonians, where she helped community-based nonprofits recruit and train volunteers for their adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. After completing her year of service, she joined the International Institute of New England in their program operations and human resources team. Inspired by her experiences of supporting the program operations for mission-driven organizations, she pursued a Social Impact MBA through the Heller School for Social Policy and Management in Waltham, Massachusetts. Through coursework such as Program Evaluation, Social Justice Philanthropy, and Financial Management, Molly gained skills in creating impact through scaling sustainable solutions.

Molly brings her passion for supporting community-based organizations through a perspective of systems change to GreenLight Fund Boston. Outside of work, you can find her running, hiking, or curling up with a crossword or a good book.
