Ana joined GreenLight after graduating this past May from Northeastern University with a degree in Human Services specializing in Child and Family Services. During her time at Northeastern, Ana has worked with many local nonprofits including Jumpstart, uAspire, the Autism Program at Boston Medical Center, Northeastern Students for Giving (NS4G), and Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG). Though she has worked in many capacities within the nonprofit structure, she primarily has focused her time on fundraising and event planning. Before coming to Boston for undergrad, Ana grew up in Los Angeles where she spent most of her time dancing competitively and volunteering. Her time in Boston has made her passionate about issues such as racial equity, closing the achievement gap, education access, LBTQ+ rights, intersectional feminism, nonprofit sustainability, disability access, ethical philanthropy, and immigration policy reform. Ana lives in Roxbury and is certified to teach AntiGravity® yoga.
