Ami Diallo joined GreenLight Fund as the Philadelphia Program Associate in April 2017 with a strong passion for community development, nonprofit operations and governance. Most recently, Ami worked as a consultant in Philadelphia, where she provided project management support on the Comcast Technology Center construction project. Prior to consulting, she had stints at the American Red Cross, City Planning Commission, and the Economy League of Philadelphia. Ami received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from SUNY Buffalo, a master’s degree in Science, Technology & Society from Drexel University, and a master’s degree in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. While in graduate school she studied abroad in India to research women’s empowerment in microfinance and economic development. In her spare time, Ami enjoys being a self-proclaimed food critic in Philadelphia, indulging in political documentaries, and spending time with friends and family.
