Alexandra Coughlin is the Senior Executive Associate & Board Liaison at GreenLight Fund and has extensive experience in the local food movement and agricultural operations. Prior to GreenLight, she was a Front of House Manager for a Cambridge restaurant group that focuses on sustainability through local food sourcing, minimizing waste, and buying from small makers. Her passion for local food grew from her experience working on a small family farm in her hometown of Sandwich, Massachusetts. In addition to working on the farm, she joined the Plymouth Farmers’ Market as their operations manager where she helped to connect local farmers with their greater community. Alexandra uses her operational acumen to support GreenLight in its mission to open opportunities for community members experiencing poverty across the nation.
She currently sits on the Board of The Massachusetts Oyster Project, a grassroots nonprofit working to restore the native oyster population and protect our shoreline.
Alexandra holds a B.A in Anthropology from Syracuse University.
