A region like none other.

Spread over nine counties, incorporating 101 municipalities, and led by almost as many governing bodies, the cities and towns that ring San Francisco Bay are filled with people representing a variety of cultures, viewpoints and livelihoods. Many on the outside just see the region’s burgeoning tech scene and the explosive new wealth it has created. But those closer to the ground understand the devastating pockets of poverty that remain the daily reality for too many Bay Area children and families.

This is where GreenLight comes in. We give the Bay Area a tool to identify and address the most urgent needs of low-income residents with the country’s best social innovations.

Our Portfolio

We search from coast to coast to bring the most promising, ground-breaking answers to some of Bay Area’s most challenging poverty-related issues. Organizations in our portfolio represent the best in their fields – in innovation, measurable results and ability to scale.

GreenLight Fund is made up of passionate people like you.
